Oaxaca Sights: Hierve El Agua

July 24, 2017
Hierve El Agua Mineral Springs

Located at the top (or near the top) of a mountain, these springs
are fed by fresh water springs coming up through the ground.

The water is saturated with minerals that create the organic shapes
and the
white calcium streaks down the sides of the mountain,
making it look like a waterfall.
