Our first hotel for this trip was the Hotel California, one of the most visually pleasing hotels I've ever stayed in! Kinda like a bohemian art gallery, with really comfortable rooms!
Again, it's not a vacation without a pool. We liked the pool here very much!

Going to Baja was special because my wife's family has a bit of heritage there- there is a street named after her great grandfather in the middle of town, there's a few family heirlooms in the museum and this was our first time traveling to Mexico for a family vacation.
